Why This Matters for Boxing

Low-to-high chopping motion — builds pulling rotational power for uppercuts and hooks that travel on an upward arc. The reverse direction targets different oblique fibers than the standard woodchopper.

How To Do It

  1. 1Set the cable to the lowest position.
  2. 2Stand sideways to the machine.
  3. 3Pull the cable from low to high in a diagonal chopping motion.
  4. 4Rotate from your hips and core.
  5. 5Control the return.
