Russian Twists (Weighted)
Why This Matters for Boxing
Builds oblique rotational endurance — the engine behind every hook, cross, and body shot. If your obliques fatigue in late rounds, your punches lose torque. This exercise builds the gas tank for rotational power.
How To Do It
- 1Sit on the floor with knees bent, feet slightly off the ground.
- 2Hold a weight at chest height with both hands.
- 3Rotate your torso to touch the weight to the floor on each side.
- 4Keep your back at about 45 degrees — don't round it.
- 5Control the rotation, don't just swing.
