Why This Matters for Boxing

Isolated power practice for the cross. By throwing single crosses with a full reset between each, you train maximum force production without the fatigue masking bad form. This is how you learn to truly hurt with the straight right.

How To Do It

  1. 1Stand in your fighting stance in front of the heavy bag.
  2. 2Throw one single cross at maximum power.
  3. 3Fully reset to your guard position.
  4. 4Pause, reset your feet, breathe.
  5. 5Throw the next cross. Every single one at 100%.
