Why This Matters for Boxing
Practice recovery after committing to the most dangerous punch in boxing. The overhand leaves you vulnerable — these drills teach you to throw max-power overhands AND recover your guard immediately after.
How To Do It
- 1Stand in your fighting stance at punching range.
- 2Step outside slightly with your lead foot.
- 3Throw a looping overhand right over the top.
- 4Immediately recover your guard after impact.
- 5Reset fully between each rep.
