Why This Matters for Boxing

Practice recovery after committing to the most dangerous punch in boxing. The overhand leaves you vulnerable — these drills teach you to throw max-power overhands AND recover your guard immediately after.

How To Do It

  1. 1Stand in your fighting stance at punching range.
  2. 2Step outside slightly with your lead foot.
  3. 3Throw a looping overhand right over the top.
  4. 4Immediately recover your guard after impact.
  5. 5Reset fully between each rep.

Pro Tips
