Shadowbox Angles

🥊

Why This Matters for Boxing

Pivot after every combination — training the discipline of always changing angles. In a fight, the fighter who pivots controls the ring; the fighter who stands still gets hit.

How To Do It

  1. 1Shadow box with any combinations.
  2. 2After every combo, pivot to a new angle.
  3. 3Never throw two combos from the same spot.
  4. 4Vary your pivots: 45°, 90°, full 180°.
  5. 5Focus on balance during and after each pivot.

Pro Tips

  • The pivot should feel natural — not forced.
  • Think of it as: punch → move → punch from new angle.
  • This is the most important shadow boxing variation.
