Why This Matters for Boxing
Practice stepping outside and recovering guard after the overhand. The overhand is a commitment punch — if you miss and your guard isn't back, you get countered. This drills the recovery.
How To Do It
- 1Stand in fighting stance.
- 2Step to the outside.
- 3Throw an overhand right.
- 4Immediately recover your guard.
- 5Reset stance and repeat.
