A comprehensive 30-day curriculum that builds you from the ground up. Week 1 covers fundamentals, Week 2 adds defense, Week 3 introduces combinations and footwork, and Week 4 puts it all together with strategy and conditioning. No prior boxing experience needed.

Day 1: Your Fighting Stance

Everything starts with how you stand.

LEARN: High Guard
PRACTICE: Mirror work: Hold your stance for 5 minutes total. Check feet, hands, chin position.

Day 2: The Jab

The most important punch in boxing.

LEARN: The Jab
PRACTICE: Shadowbox 3 rounds: Jab ONLY. Focus on full extension and snapping back.

Day 3: The Cross

Your power straight punch.

LEARN: The Cross (Straight Rear Hand)
PRACTICE: Shadowbox 3 rounds: Jabs in Round 1, crosses in Round 2, alternating in Round 3.

Day 4: The 1-2

The foundation combination.

LEARN: The 1-2 (Jab-Cross)
PRACTICE: 3 rounds: Throw nothing but the 1-2. Focus on the hip rotation connecting jab to cross.

Day 5: Basic Movement

Step-drag in all 4 directions.

LEARN: Step-Drag (Advancing/Retreating)
PRACTICE: Move continuously for 10 minutes. Forward, backward, left, right. Never cross your feet.

Day 6: Rest Day

Recovery is training.

PRACTICE: Light stretching for 15 minutes. Watch boxing technique videos for study.

Day 7: Week 1 Review

Putting the basics together.

PRACTICE: 3 rounds of shadowboxing using ONLY jab, cross, 1-2, and step-drag movement.

Day 8: The Lead Hook

The knockout punch.

LEARN: Lead Hook
PRACTICE: 3 rounds shadowboxing: Focus entirely on hip rotation when throwing the hook.

Day 9: The Uppercut

Upward power from the legs.

LEARN: Lead Uppercut
LEARN: Rear Uppercut
PRACTICE: 3 rounds: Focus on driving up from the legs into the uppercut.

Day 10: Parrying Straight Punches

Deflect jabs and crosses.

LEARN: Parry
PRACTICE: Shadowbox 3 rounds: Visualize incoming jabs and parry each one before countering.

Day 11: Blocking Hooks

The L-block and catch.

LEARN: Catch and Block
LEARN: L-Block (Elbow Block)
PRACTICE: Partner drill or mirror work: Practice catching and blocking from guard position.

Day 12: Head Movement

Slipping punches.

LEARN: Slip Outside
LEARN: Bob and Weave
PRACTICE: Slip rope drill: 3 rounds alternating slips and bobs.

Day 13: Rest Day

Recovery is training.

PRACTICE: Light stretching. Review all techniques learned this week.

Day 14: Week 2 Review

All punches plus defense.

PRACTICE: 5 rounds shadowboxing: Use all 4 punches plus parry, block, and slip.

Day 15: The 1-2-3

Adding the hook to the 1-2.

LEARN: The 1-2-3 (Jab-Cross-Hook)
PRACTICE: 3 rounds: Jab-Cross-Hook with full commitment on each punch.

Day 16: The 1-2-3-2

The 4-punch money combo.

LEARN: The 1-2-3-2 (Jab-Cross-Hook-Cross)
PRACTICE: 3 rounds: 1-2-3-2 with movement between combos.

Day 17: Body Combinations

Attacking up and down.

LEARN: Body-Head-Body (Level Storm)
PRACTICE: 3 rounds: Alternate head and body combinations. Never throw more than 2 head punches in a row.

Day 18: The Pivot

Creating angles with footwork.

LEARN: Lead Foot Pivot
PRACTICE: 50 pivot repetitions each direction. Then 3 rounds shadowboxing with pivots after every combination.

Day 19: Lateral Movement

Circling and cutting angles.

LEARN: Lateral Movement (Side Step)
PRACTICE: 3 rounds: Move laterally the entire round while throwing jabs. Never move forward or backward.

Day 20: Rest Day

Recovery and conditioning.

LEARN: Roadwork (Distance Running)
PRACTICE: Easy 2-mile jog. Stretch fully afterward.

Day 21: Week 3 Review

Combinations with footwork.

PRACTICE: 5 rounds: Throw combinations, move, throw combinations. Focus on footwork between combos.

Day 22: Distance Management

Controlling the range.

LEARN: Distance Management
PRACTICE: 3 rounds: Shadowbox maintaining an imaginary jab-range distance from an opponent.

Day 23: Core Conditioning

Building your body armor.

LEARN: Core & Body Conditioning
PRACTICE: Full core circuit: Planks, Russian twists, hanging leg raises, hollow body holds.

Day 24: Ring Generalship

Controlling where the fight happens.

LEARN: Ring Generalship
PRACTICE: 3 rounds: Practice cutting off the ring against an imaginary circling opponent.

Day 25: Counter-Punching

Making the opponent pay.

LEARN: Counterpunching Fundamentals
PRACTICE: 3 rounds: Defense only — slip and counter, parry and counter, block and counter.

Day 26: Conditioning Circuit

Fight-ready endurance.

LEARN: Heavy Bag Rounds
PRACTICE: 6-round circuit: 2 rounds heavy bag, 2 rounds shadowboxing, 2 rounds jump rope.

Day 27: Rest Day

Recovery before the final push.

PRACTICE: Light walk. Stretching. Mental visualization of all techniques learned.

Day 28: Full Simulation Round 1

Putting everything together.

PRACTICE: 6 rounds of shadowboxing simulating a fight. Use all techniques: movement, combinations, defense, counters.

Day 29: Full Simulation Round 2

Conditioning under pressure.

PRACTICE: 8 rounds: 4 rounds shadowboxing at high intensity, 2 rounds heavy bag, 2 rounds jump rope finisher.

Day 30: Graduation Day

You made it. Show what you've learned.

PRACTICE: 10-round championship simulation. 3 min rounds, 1 min rest. Use everything. This is your graduation.
