Lateral Cone Shuffles

Cones (3-5)
🥊

Why This Matters for Boxing

Quick lateral direction changes. In boxing, you need to change direction instantly — to evade, cut angles, or set up your attacks. Cone shuffles train the explosive lateral push-off that makes your footwork sharp.

How To Do It

  1. 1Set up 3-5 cones about 3 feet apart in a line.
  2. 2Start at one end in your fighting stance.
  3. 3Shuffle laterally through the cones as fast as possible.
  4. 4Touch the ground at each end.
  5. 5Don't cross your feet.
