Agility Ladder (Lateral Shuffles)

Agility Ladder
🥊

Why This Matters for Boxing

Quick feet for direction changes. Pivoting requires rapid foot placement — the agility ladder trains your feet to move fast and land precisely, which translates directly to faster pivots and angle changes in the ring.

How To Do It

  1. 1Place an agility ladder on the ground.
  2. 2Stand at one end.
  3. 3Shuffle laterally through the ladder, placing both feet in each square.
  4. 4Stay on the balls of your feet.
  5. 5Go as fast as possible while maintaining accuracy.

Pro Tips

  • Speed comes from lifting your feet LESS, not more.
  • Stay low — same height as your fighting stance.
  • Look ahead, not down at the ladder.
