Agility Ladder (Lateral Shuffles)
Why This Matters for Boxing
Quick feet for direction changes. Pivoting requires rapid foot placement — the agility ladder trains your feet to move fast and land precisely, which translates directly to faster pivots and angle changes in the ring.
How To Do It
- 1Place an agility ladder on the ground.
- 2Stand at one end.
- 3Shuffle laterally through the ladder, placing both feet in each square.
- 4Stay on the balls of your feet.
- 5Go as fast as possible while maintaining accuracy.

Pro Tips
- Speed comes from lifting your feet LESS, not more.
- Stay low — same height as your fighting stance.
- Look ahead, not down at the ladder.
