Landmine Rotations from Squat

Barbell Landmine Attachment
🥊

Why This Matters for Boxing

Combines level change with rotation — the exact mechanics of a body hook from a crouched position. The squat keeps you low while the rotation builds the torque needed to rip hooks to the liver.

How To Do It

  1. 1Set up a landmine as normal.
  2. 2Hold the end at chest height in a half-squat.
  3. 3Rotate the barbell side to side while maintaining the squat depth.
  4. 4Drive the rotation from your hips and core.
  5. 5Don't stand up between rotations.

Pro Tips

  • This is significantly harder than standing landmine rotations.
  • Start with just the barbell — no added weight.
  • Your quads and obliques should both be screaming.
