Slip Rope (Alternating)

Rope or String
🥊

Why This Matters for Boxing

Alternate inside and outside slips under the rope. This builds the ability to slip in both directions — essential for defensive variety so your opponent can't predict which way you'll move.

How To Do It

  1. 1Tie a rope at chin height.
  2. 2Stand at one end in fighting stance.
  3. 3Slip outside (head goes past the rope on one side).
  4. 4Slip inside (head goes past the rope on the other side).
  5. 5Move along the rope while alternating.

  • Add a counter punch after each slip.
