Slip Rope (Alternating)
Why This Matters for Boxing
Alternate inside and outside slips under the rope. This builds the ability to slip in both directions — essential for defensive variety so your opponent can't predict which way you'll move.
How To Do It
- 1Tie a rope at chin height.
- 2Stand at one end in fighting stance.
- 3Slip outside (head goes past the rope on one side).
- 4Slip inside (head goes past the rope on the other side).
- 5Move along the rope while alternating.
